Mount Nebo, standing 817 meters above sea level, is one of the most revered biblical sites in Jordan. According to tradition, it is the place where the Prophet Moses stood and saw the Promised Land before his death.

Today, Mount Nebo is a popular pilgrimage and heritage destination, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Jericho, and even Jerusalem on a clear day. It also features a beautifully preserved church and ancient mosaics dating back to the Byzantine period.
